| Are you alive?"Of Course!" How do you know?"I can see, I can hear, I can feel, I can taste, I can smell!" Good! You can recall all these experiences! So you do have a memory! Actually, you do have a memory of your experiences whether you recall them or not! That's lifeLife is full of experiences from the day we are born to the day we die; we have a memory of them and that is learning. What else can one call it but learning! Where there is a memory, we can recall that memory. Acquiring memories is just living as learning is only consciousness or awareness of things around us. FOCUS Focus is directing our attention to a particular subject in order to ensure that we make conscious note of that subject to the exclusion of all the other happenings around us. Natural focus Natural focus undoubtedly helps by setting a path to the memory, but natural focus comes about simply by our interest in a particular subject being aroused. If we like some subject we will focus on it automatically. Let me make a sweeping statement: like the subject and you will have super learning. Many confuse focus with learning. Many also try to force focus to achieve learning. This sort of approach is firstly acknowledging that we have a negative belief, thereby strengthening that negative belief, then trying to overcome that negative belief (a further admission of the negative belief) so strenthening the negative belief even more. It does not work. Negative belief is in the subconscious and can only be removed by the subconscious power of mind. The conscious acknowledgment of it's presence only doubles it's strength, thereby ensuring negative results. Are we learning machines? We gather information and store it. We can't do anything else but learn: learning is automatic! New experiences are measured against older experiences to give them value. The more we learn, the better value we can give to new experiences and the more we want to learn to appreciate any new experiences. Learning, therefore, is a desirable quality in our make up; not only is learning desirable, learning is an absolute necessity. We would be
dead
without learning. So, yes, I believe we are learning
machines.
We cannot stop ourselves from learning. RecallingRecalling our experience is also automatic, it is a sense just like taste, the sampling and savouring of a meal. Recollection is self awareness, self satisfaction, or simply enjoying life. The more we remember, the more we appreciate life and the happier we are. Poor RecallPoor recall is the result of negative belief; we believe we can't! Simple as that! Can you imagine President Bush forgetting his speech? Or the great American Idol, and the X Factor winners forgetting their words! Of course not! They have good self-image, self-esteem and self-confidence. They
have positive belief
in themselves! As a result, they have a super learning
ability
which is just a demonstration of their natural capacity to learn - the
same learning capacity we each possess. On Track 1....................Introduction
